Rest in Peace Rev. S.W.M. Jacobs

The Bantu Methodist Church of Southern African Leadership would like to thank all the members of the Church and all the other people from all the corners of the Country who came to pay their last respect to the fallen hero Rev. S.W.M. Jacobs at KwaNobuhle Township, Uitenhage.  He was indeed laid to rest in a dignified way.  Sohlala siwukhumbula uSiyakudunmisa wakho.  Thank you to you all.  May God bless you all.

He served the Church as follows:

He joined Ministry in 1994.

He served in the following Districts and Circuits:

1994 - 1996 Macosa - Western Transkei

1997 - 1998 - Welkom Circuit - Free State

1999 - Kunwana and Rustenburg Circuits - North West

2000 – 2002 Soweto / Johannesburg  - North West and Botswana District

2003  Rustenburg – North West and Botswana District

2004 - 2014 Beaufort West - Western Cape District

He served in the following positions:

2003   Became Superintendent Minister

2011 - 2013 Became District Chairman – Western Cape District

2014 – 2016 Became Acting District Chairlady – North Western Cape District

He then retired due to ill-health.
